Built on a Delaware farm. Run like a family business.

Junk Away is owned and run by two brothers — Bobby and Brian — who grew up on a family farm in Middletown, Delaware. Long before we were hauling junk professionally, we were hauling it for our grandfather.

He was a builder, a businessman, and quite the collector. If we wanted something — a fast food meal, a milkshake, a new toy — he didn't just hand it over. He'd put us to work on the farm first. A few bucks an hour, real labor, then we'd take that money and go buy whatever it was ourselves.

That's where we learned how to work. How to use tools. How to drive a trailer. How to take pride in finishing the job right.

We always knew we wanted to build something of our own in the community that raised us. We just didn't know what it would be — until we realized we already had the experience, half the equipment, and the work ethic to back it up. We built up the walls on an old trailer, painted the logo, got our license and insurance, and got to work.

A few years later, Junk Away is a full-blown operation serving Delaware from Greenville and Hockessin down to Lewes and Rehoboth. We're still family-owned. Still local. And we still show up the way we were raised to — on time, with the right tools, and ready to work.
